One of my go to nymphing patterns for just about any situation is the Pat's Rubber legs. It is a super easy pattern to tie that out performs some of the more realistic stone fly imitations with half the materials and and a quarter of the time. I've also been known to nymph Wooly Buggers, they too are surprisingly effective nymph imitations. So, I Frankensteined the two into a hybrid pattern that combines the pulsating movement of classic Wooly Bugger with the profile of a Pat's Rubber Legs. Needless to say, it worked out pretty well.
