Random Tip #2>>

Here's another quick bit of info that I think is pretty important when putting together a fly box for any fish species. You've got to tie flies or buy flies that are opposite in color. I always tie each fly in at least two different color schemes; one that is dark, and one that is light.

Why? Because if you're fishing dirty water you'll be prepared with a nice dark fly. On the other hand if you're fishing water with good visibility a

softer color pallet will treat you better. For my dark flies I like color combinations like: purple/black, blue/black, olive/yellow, and brown/yellow. For clear water I prefer flies like: white/chartreuse, olive/white, grey/white, and blue/white.
