I've got all these tips, and tricks, and just other stuff that I learn throughout the year at the bench and on the water. I've decided to start a series of posts here that will just be live from time to time when I think I've got something small but helpful worth sharing. That being said here's the first one.
I've been tying for a coming saltwater trip lately which means I've been tying quite a few EP Crabs in different sizes and colors. One thing I've learned while tying them is that it can be fairly difficult to get a uniform, rounded shape for the body. To make it easier I've been using a pair of curved scissors I found. The curve on the cutting edge really helps make a simple and round crab body that is easily duplicated.
